Takdera stores everything — every activity, participant, venue, tag, and note — only in a local database on your own device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data, because there is nowhere for it to go: Takdera has no backend.
Nothing is collected by us, because Takdera has no server to collect it on. The information you enter — activity names, dates and times, participants, hosts, venues, tags, and remarks — is written directly to a database file stored inside Takdera's private app storage on your device. It never travels over a network, because Takdera never opens one for this purpose.
Takdera does not use analytics, does not use crash-reporting services, does not show ads, and does not include any advertising or tracking SDKs.
Your activities are stored in a local SQLite database, managed on-device using the Drift database library. This file lives in Takdera's app-private storage — the same protected space every app on your device gets, which other apps cannot read.
Reminders and the daily summary notification are scheduled locally using your device's own operating system (Android's AlarmManager, or iOS's UNUserNotificationCenter). There is no push notification service, no remote server, and no third party involved at any point — your phone reminds you because you told Takdera to, not because a server told your phone to.
Takdera can create an encrypted snapshot of your activities on request. This backup is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, using a key generated on your device and held in your device's hardware-backed secure storage (Android Keystore or iOS Keychain) — a key that never leaves that secure storage and is never visible to us, because there is no "us" on the other end of a connection to see it.
The encrypted backup file is saved inside Takdera's private app storage. It stays there unless you manually copy, share, or move it elsewhere.
Takdera can export your activities as a JSON or CSV file, for your own records or to move data between devices. If you choose to share that exported file — by email, by saving it to cloud storage, or through any other app — that happens through your device's own share sheet, at your explicit action. Takdera does not transmit the file anywhere on its own.
| Permission | Why Takdera asks for it |
|---|---|
| Notifications | So your device can show the reminders and daily summary you configure. Declining it means Takdera still works — you simply won't see reminder notifications. |
| Receive boot completed | So your scheduled reminders are re-armed after you restart your device. Without it, reminders set before a restart could be missed. |
Takdera is not directed at children and is not designed to collect information from anyone, of any age — because it does not collect information from anyone at all. We are not aware of any children's data being processed, since none is processed.
Because everything stays on your device, you are always in direct control of your data:
